This policy explains what information the AgroSaathi AI mobile app and admin panel ("AgroSaathi AI", "we") collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. / हे धोरण AgroSaathi AI ॲप कोणती माहिती गोळा करते, ती कशी वापरली जाते आणि तुमचे अधिकार काय आहेत ते सांगते.
1. Information we collect
- Account details: full name, mobile number, village / taluka / district, and a password (stored only in hashed form).
- Farm and crop data: land name, survey / gat number, area, soil type, irrigation source, land boundary points, crops you add, and sub-plots.
- Soil test data: soil test requests and the readings (N, P, K, pH, moisture, temperature, EC) recorded by our field agents, and the soil test reports generated from them.
- Location: precise GPS location, used only when you choose to mark your land, pick a location for a soil test, or (for agents) navigate to a farm. We also use your approximate location to show local weather.
- Photos: pictures you take or upload for crop disease and pest detection, and land/marketplace listing photos you choose to upload.
- Usage and support data: requests you make in the app (drone booking, marketplace and land listings, farmer queries) and basic technical logs needed to keep the service working.
2. How we use it
- To create your account and let you sign in.
- To manage your lands and crops, assign soil test requests to field agents, and generate soil test reports.
- To give crop recommendations and farming advice based on your soil readings, season, district and weather.
- To show local weather, and to let agents reach your farm.
- To provide support and improve the reliability and accuracy of the service.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not show third-party advertising in the app.
3. Who can see your information
- Field agents assigned to your soil test request can see your name, contact number, farm name, and farm location for that request.
- Taluka and District coordinators and AgroSaathi AI administrators can see information for their area so they can supervise the service.
- Marketplace and land listings you publish are visible to other users of the app.
4. Third-party services
To provide the service we use: Google Maps (map display and navigation), OpenWeather (weather, using your approximate coordinates), and our own crop recommendation service (soil values, season, district and weather are sent to it to produce a recommendation). These providers process data under their own policies.
5. Data storage and security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on servers we control. Passwords are stored hashed. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
6. Data retention and deletion
We keep your information while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data at any time at https://admin.agrosaathiai.space/delete-account. We process deletion requests within 30 days. Soil test records may be kept in de-identified form, and some records may be retained where the law requires.
7. Your choices
- You can deny or revoke location and camera permission in your phone settings (some features will then not work).
- You can edit or delete your lands and crops in the app.
- You can request access, correction or deletion of your data using the link above.
8. Children
AgroSaathi AI is intended for farmers and agricultural workers and is not directed at children under 13.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above will change when we do.
